This mix covers a genre that is one of my all-time favorites, Soul Music. It begins with yearning and betrayal. Triangulation is a common theme in life and music and it leads to the deepest pain, just behind death. In some cases it feels worse than death, because the other person is still alive and the chances you will cross paths and be completely emotionally gutted by them is greatly possible. This mix explores those edges of darkness and betrayal, deep pain, excruciating decisions, triumph and the ability to love again, stronger and happier than before. For some people, it is working things out with their current partner, but for others the best thing to do is part ways, keep the lessons learned and find greater happiness with another partner. My Scorpio Rising and lessons learned in my 45 years really prefers the later. Who wants to hang onto a cheating fool who didn't value you? Give me new and better!
