Mixtape Soundtracks // JM1 - Vuarnet and Bain de Soleil Summers

Music has always been my escape and I have always loved the art of the mixtape.  While I would love to make a monthly cassette mixtape and dub as many copies as our readers request, the reality is these are different times.  A digital age.  Therefore, my offerings will be spotify playlists for your listening pleasure.  

So, we begin with my first offering. This one touches on memories of teenage summers, yet incorporates  bands from the here and now.  Driving around with the top down on your car, while seeking the haunts of your crush, hoping to bump into them. The hope, the doubt, the insecurity and exhilaration. 

This will be the summer to beat all summers.  Soak in the sun, take risks and fall in love with your current life version of your high school crush.  Who says it can't happen?  Anything can happen during summer.  Dream big and grab what's yours.
